Briggs told Valerie she will have to leave the church but will not tell her why  /  More control and abuse by Briggs and the leadership, telling Valerie that if she went to a church they had a relationship with, they would contact the church to warn them about her  /  Valerie terrified to go out in public in the small town due to gossip  /  Briggs was directing all of this, while the others were deceived and just doing his bidding because he said he heard the audible voice of God  /  Valerie leaves Bolivar for D.C. and gets married to Tony  /  While in D.C. the abusive Briggs again tells the church he heard the audible voice of God saying Valerie was ministered to by a demonic spirit and was defiling the church, and Valerie leading worship in 2001 caused the Stockton, MO tornados  /  The church has a Valerie bonfire burning all remembrance of her and referred to her as a Jezebel  /  After Briggs' wife Amy passes away he admits to the church that he was channeling the voice of God through 'Tiffany' in her counselling sessions (presumably he did this because he told everyone she would be healed and wasn't, so he had to come clean)  /  Valerie finally set free from Briggs admission to the church  /  Those who have left the faith because of Briggs  /  How Valerie was able to move through the pain to restoration - there are two roads  /  Scripture verses that were important for Valerie to move through the pain to the other side  /  Conclusion."
